Adopted Dog Monday

Lola, a Rottie mix, found her forever family over the weekend. She is a first dog for this young couple and they were thrilled to open their home to such a sweet girl. They are active and are ready to continue to work on Lola's weight loss exercise plan. Lola will have a fenced yard to play in and a couple of cats to keep her company. Thanks to Lola's foster family for taking such good care of her. Congratulations on their first successful adoption.

Adopted Dog Monday!

Lola was adopted by a family who is thrilled to have a new puppy to love. They recently had to euthanize their fourteen year old lab last month. Lola's new dad said it was just too quiet without a dog. The only disgruntled family member was the cat, however, we imagine he'll get used to Lola fairly quickly.

Lola's new dad especially liked his new friend and as Lola's screeners completed the home visit and were heading out the door, Lola and dad were already getting ready for their first walk ... some private bonding time! Lola was "given a tour" of the house, and her dad showed her where everything was. Lola will have a cozy crate to sleep in at night right next to their bed. During the day, Lola will get to hang out with mom and have constant human companionship.

Congrats to Lola and her new family! Now if could get Lola's sibling Emma adopted that would be awesome!

Adopted Dog Tuesday!

Abbey, a little Westie girl, was adopted by our Dog Division Director. She shares her new home with 2 canine siblings and several cats. Abbey's canine siblings are both big dogs, but I have no doubt that she can hold her own with her terrier genes.

Lola, a brindle-coated lab mix, was adopted last week. No, Lola is not winking, she lost her eye in an accident before coming in to foster care. Lola is a sweet girl who has been a big hit at our adoption events, so we are all glad to know that she has found her forever home!

We have several other dogs who have gone to foster-with-intent homes and we hope to have some more happy endings to report soon!
