Adopted Dog Update: Toby (formerly PeeWee)

One of the highlights for all of us that volunteer with Pet Haven is when we hear from adopters and we get updated photos and stories! In December, 2007 we had one the cutest chihuahua pups come through our foster program. His name was Pee Wee. He could almost fit into the palm of our foster's hand (photo on right).

In February, 2008 he was adopted and the rest is history. PeeWee is now Toby and according to his new mom "is doing extremely well. Chloe (westie) and him are good friends and he has been a wonderful addition to the family. My family and I are grateful for you allowing him to be a part of our family."

We are always thrilled to hear from adopters. As an all-volunteer organization, we share at new volunteer orientations that our paycheck comes in the form of slobbery kisses and in the reward of knowing that not only have we made a difference in the life of another Toby, but Toby has made a difference in the life of another human being..... every rescued dog that comes through our foster program touches our heart and they will always be a part of the Pet Haven family.

Many thanks to Toby's new mom for sending us an update! If you have adopted a dog or cat from Pet Haven we would love to hear from you!
